Mrs. Elms, originally from Marlton, N.J, is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. GO TIGERS! Mrs. Elms began her teaching career in Rock Hill, S.C. She has previously served as elementary teacher, a middle school math teacher and a math interventionist.  Ms. Elms received her Master of School Administration degree from Gardner-Webb University.

Previously, Mrs. Elms served as an assistant principal at South Point High School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, her dog, Lilly, her family and friends; reading; baking; and watching sports.

She is truly honored and excited to be named the principal of this incredible school. Mrs. Elms is committed to working hard alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families to create an environment where excellence is a priority in every area—from academic achievement to personal growth. Together, we will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and respect, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed and thrive. She looks forward to the journey ahead and to making a positive impact on our community.
