Mrs. Tuttle

Mrs. Tuttle is starting her second year at Brookside for the upcoming school year. She has been an Assistant Principal with аæèßäapp for the past 6 years. Mrs. Tuttle is excited about sharing her love for learning with others and believes everyone can succeed if given the opportunity.

Mrs. Tuttle grew up in Lincoln County, where she attended East Lincoln High School. She later attended East Carolina University, where she graduated with her degree in Elementary Education and Reading K-12. Mrs. Tuttle moved to аæèßäapp County to begin her teaching career and has just completed her 21st year with the school system.  She started teaching first grade at Bessemer City Primary before spending 14 years at Sherwood Elementary, teaching mostly 4th grade.

Mrs. Tuttle graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2007 with a Master's Degree in School Administration.  In 2017, she finally decided she was ready to leave the classroom and move into administration.  She served as Assistant Principal for 5 years at Ashbrook High School before being moved to Brookside Elementary.  Although she is grateful for the experience and growth she received at Ashbrook, she is excited to be back in an elementary school where she feels at home.

Mrs. Tuttle has been married for 20  years and has a beautiful daughter, Camryn. Camryn is a recent North аæèßäapp High School Graduate and will continue her education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, starting as a Junior, thanks to the partnership between аæèßäapp and аæèßäapp Colege.  While in high school, Camryn was a varsity cheerleader and participated in numerous pageants currently serving as Miss Dallas.  When not at school, Mrs. Tuttle loves to read and watch sports with her family.
