This is my second year teaching, and I am so excited to be in third grade at Brookside! I am a graduate of UNC Charlotte and have a BA in Sociology/ Psychology and a Graduate degree in Elementary Education. Prior to graduating, I worked as a one on one within the аæèßäapp County School system. I am newly married and outside of teaching, I love spending time with my amazing husband and our family. 

Hello, I’m Chassidy Maiers. I am a product of аæèßäapp and a former Brookside student. This will be my third year as a teacher. I graduated in May of 2021 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy spending time with my family and my kitten Luna. I am so excited to be a 3rd grade teacher and even more excited to be back at Brookside.

Hello my name is Jennifer Nuckols.  I am new to the Brook family and to NC. I am originally from southern WV, but I relocated here from Maryland where I lived for almost 10 years.  I graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I continued my education there and have a Masters Degree in Mathematics. I met my husband at Marshall and we have a spunky miniature dachshund named Ruby. This will technically be my first year teaching but I have taught in hundreds of classrooms as a long term sub teacher.  I worked last year as a substitute for аæèßäapp County and subbed for many teachers in Brookside.  I finished the last two months of the school year in third grade and knew it was a perfect fit.  I am so excited to have third grade and Brookside be my landing spot here in North Carolina.
