Athletic Event Policies

  • To provide a safe and secure environment for our fans and spectators at athletic events, Bessemer City High School has instituted the following policies:

    • Each person will be metal detected and searched prior to entry into events (this includes chairs and blankets)
    • No bags or purses will be allowed into the event. Please leave your bags and purses locked in your vehicle. Exceptions include diaper bags (accompanied by an adult with an infant), camera cases carried by properly credentialed personnel and bags with required medical items.
    • No reentry into athletic facilities. Fans are asked to stay inside the facilities. If they choose to leave the facility, they will not be allowed to return.
