I am happy to be part of the Yellow Jacket community! I am in my seventh year at BCHS and look forward to helping all students succeed. Before coming to Bessemer City High School I taught mathematics for 17 years at both the high school and college levels. My education includes a bachelor's degree in Management from North Carolina State University (Go Pack!). I have a masters degree in Mathematics from UNCC and a graduate certificate in Education Administration from Gardner Webb University. I also have a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNCC. 

My wife and I live in Lowell, NC. I enjoy spending time with my family, following the Wolfpack, watching sports live and on TV, and doing yard work around the house.

Meghann Sneed

Mrs. Meghann Sneed is very excited about joining Bessemer City High School! Mrs. Sneed is a graduate of аæèßäapp County schools. She received her undergraduate degree in statistics from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. She later went back to UNCW to earn her teaching  licensure. She completed her Master’s degree in Executive Leadership at Gardner-Webb University through the Superintendent’s Leadership Academy. Mrs. Sneed lives in Cherryville with her husband and son where she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and occasionally traveling.
