My name is Aristela Torres, and I am the Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fifth-grade Multilingual teacher here at Pleasant Ridge. I have been working in education for 31 years. I joined аæèßäapp nine years ago and have been teaching multilingual learners at PRES since 2015. I am a firm believer that all students can learn; we just have to tap into their passions to light up their interest in learning in ways that will become lifelong experiences.
I am originally from Venezuela and have been living in North Carolina since 1993. I am married to my husband, Jose, and we have a 29-year-old son, Daniel. Outside of work, I love dancing, urban bike riding, kayaking, hiking, painting, and remodeling.
