The Business, Legal and Information Sciences Academy is designed to serve those students interested in careers in various business and computer industries. It consists of two pathways: Business and Legal Studies and Computer Science.Check out our:
The Business and Legal Studies pathway introduces students to broad career opportunities in the business and legal industries. Students take industry-related courses emphasizing Principles of Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, and Business and Personal Law. The pathway enables students to complete internships at leading business and legal corporations as well as prepares them for future employment or higher education.The Computer Science pathway prepares students for careers in the information science industry. Emphasis is placed on learning to code; skills needed to configure and upgrade computers; and network infrastructures, including switching and routing. The curriculum follows industry standards to prepare students to seek certifications in Python Programming, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, and Cisco Certified Technician.The suggested sequence of courses is available on the Counseling Website.
