Hi Belmont Middle Families!  My name is Lindsay Weathers, and I'm one of your school counselors.  This is my eighth year as a school counselor with GCS, and my fourth year at Belmont Middle.  My early childhood was spent in Texas, and I moved to the Charlotte area before my 7th grade year.  I graduated from UNC Charlotte with my BA in Psychology and from Gardner-Webb University with my MA/EdS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I hold my LCMHC credential in the state of North Carolina.  When I'm not at Belmont Middle, I'm spending time with my husband, children, and two dogs - they definitely keep me busy!

Hello, BMS families! My name is Jennifer Sherrill and this is my 8th year as a school counselor and my 3rd year as the cheer coach! I graduated with my Master of Arts in Professional School Counseling from Appalachian State University in May of 2017. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am originally from Ohio, but have lived in the Carolina's for the past 28 years. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and husband!

I love working in a middle school, more specifically, at Belmont Middle School. I have learned so much over the years about this community, the people who breathe life into it and the power of school counseling. I feel lucky to come to such a beautiful town to work every day.
