The AIG Middle School Academic Facilitator-English Language Arts is one whose primary role is working in the capacity of coaching Middle School ELA teachers on the curriculum, instruction, and assessment of academically and intellectually gifted students. This educator acts as a key member of the AIG Department’s instructional leadership team for middle grades and works directly with the AIG Director to provide overall coaching to teachers through demonstration lessons, model lessons, workshops, and during planning time for instruction, with the direct goal/outcome being to increase student achievement.

The AIG Middle School Academic Facilitator-Mathematics is one whose primary role is working in the capacity of coaching Middle School Mathematics teachers on the curriculum, instruction, and assessment of academically and intellectually gifted students. This educator acts as a key member of the AIG Department’s instructional leadership team for middle grades, working directly with the AIG Director to provide overall coaching to teachers both in the classroom and during teacher planning time through instructional demonstrations, lesson modeling, and content-specific workshops with the targeted goal/outcome being to increase gifted student growth and achievement.
