The AIG Curriculum Specialist is one whose primary concern is to facilitate the implementation of the GCS K-12 AIG curriculum. This educator evaluates and provides guidance for the overall curriculum and instructional programs for the AIG department. Leadership within this role ensures high standards of instructional service for the gifted learner. This educator assists in the effective and efficient operation of the AIG curriculum which includes differentiation, professional development, and assessment.

The AIG Compliance Specialist is one whose primary concern is to oversee and manage testing, reports and records for all GCS K-12 AIG students to ensure all national, state and local requirements are met. This educator is responsible for AIG testing and reporting accurate headcounts and rosters. Yearly Differentiated Education Plan (DEP) updates and cumulative AIG folder maintenance is a crucial aspect of this role. Other responsibilities for this educator include conducting regular compliance meetings with both elementary itinerant teachers and middle school AIG contact teachers.
