I am a proud product of аæèßäapp as a 2001 graduate of North аæèßäapp High School. Upon graduation, I attended Gardner Webb University to pursue a career in nursing, but ultimately, life led me down a completely different career path. After transferring to Mars Hill College, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. My teaching career began at Bessemer City High School as a lateral entry biology teacher. Additionally, I taught science courses at McDowell High School and Lincolnton High School. I received my Masters Degree in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner Webb University, and have been serving the Cherryville community as an Assistant Principal since 2022. I live in Dallas, NC with my husband Lance and son Seth. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my son play sports, spending time with family, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and traveling.
