Fine Arts Department

  • Stuart Cramer High School opened its doors for 9th and 10th graders in August 2013 as the eleventh high school in the аæèßäapp County School system. The аæèßäapp County School system is the ninth largest in NC and is located just west of Charlotte. The new building is a contemporary design with more than 268,000 square feet of space and athletic facilities that combine to occupy more than 90 acres. SCHS is located one mile off I-85 in Belmont, NC. Today SCHS hosts approximately 950 students and welcomes its first class of Seniors graduating in 2016.

    Stuart Cramer High School Fine Arts Program:
    Principal Jessica Steiner believes that successful schools are grounded in the 3 A’s: Academics, Arts, and Athletics. The arts programs at SCHS include choral music, instrumental music, visual arts, and theatre arts. Productions and performances are held in the L. Reeves McGlohon Auditorium with the capacity to seat approximately fifteen hundred people.
