Melanie Sherrill has been teaching for 27 years, 11 of which have been here at WB Beam Intermediate School.  She was a classroom teacher at Sherwood Elementary, Woodhill Elementary, and Cherryville Elementary prior to first coming to WB Beam in 2004, when the school initially opened.  Then, she went back to Cherryville Elementary to become the School Library Media Coordinator in 2012.  Mrs. Sherrill returned to Beam in 2021 as a 4th grade teacher.  In 2022, she returned to the library here at Beam. She is married to Vince, and they have five children:  Jenna (21), Ethan (18), Kevin (16), Colin (14), and Lilah (11).  She enjoys spending her time with family, traveling - especially camping at the beach and mountains, reading and crafting.
