Ms. Anna Lineberger is a аæèßäapp County native and a product of аæèßäapp, having graduated from East аæèßäapp High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History from UNC-Charlotte and later obtained her teaching certification in Middle Grades Science and Social Studies. She also earned her master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University and her master’s degree in School Administration from Gardner Webb University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Gardner Webb University.  

Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, Ms. Lineberger spent 19 years in the classroom. She taught 7th and 8th grade Science, Social Studies, and World History. As a teacher, she mentored new teachers, was a SIT member, led professional development workshops, and advocated for community involvement within the school.

Ms. Lineberger has one daughter, Caroline, who attends Mount Holly Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with Caroline, family & friends, watching Caroline play softball, shopping, reading, and traveling. She also enjoys a good college football and basketball game. She is a lifelong learner with a passion for educating the future. She believes that all students can and will succeed when met on their level of learning. Student support and building relationships are her priorities for academic success. She is excited to join the John Chavis Middle School family.
