Ms. Owenby is a proud product of аæèßäapp, graduating from Hunter Huss High School in 1999. She began her teaching career at North аæèßäapp High School, where she taught science for nine and a half years before transitioning to administration. Ms. Owenby has served as assistant principal at Hunter Huss High School, Lingerfeldt Elementary, and Cherryville High School.
