Welcome to the аæèßäapp Mental Health Services webpage! The mental health services area within Student Support Services has grown significantly over the past few years. Mental health clinicians work collaboratively with school based therapists in schools to provide intervention strategies to increase academic success and improve graduation rates, provide crisis intervention, and assist students in developing appropriate social interaction skills. Mental health clinicians and school based therapists also work diligently to serve students and families.

Undiagnosed or untreated mental health conditions can impact a child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive in the classroom and beyond. School Mental Health Services in аæèßäapp promotes the safety and well-being for all students in order to increase academic success, improve graduation rates, provide crisis intervention, and assist students in developing appropriate social and emotional skills.Student Support Services staff like school counselors and school social workers provide consultations and referrals for students currently experiencing mental health issues. In addition, аæèßäapp has partnered with local community mental health agencies to provide school-based therapy services to students. These staff are available to offer support and to help families navigate the mental health system. If you have concerns about your child’s mental health please speak with your school counselor or school social worker.
